Query Language
The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:
- augmentative communication
- finds documents containing 'augmentative' or 'communication'
- augmentative or communication
- same as above
- augmentative and communication
- finds documents containing both 'augmentative' and 'communication'
- augmentative not communication
- finds documents containing 'augmentative' but not 'communication'
- (augmentative not alternative) and communication
- finds documents containing 'communication', plus 'augmentative' but not 'alternative'
- co*
- finds documents containing words starting with 'co' such as 'communication', 'cochlear', 'community', 'conference' and 'committee'
