Medical Speech Pathology Forum The Medical Speech Pathology Forum is held yearly at MSHA’s Annual Conference. This Forum focuses on current issues relevant to SLP’s practicing within a medical setting. Topics discussed include reimbursement, staffing, managed care, and the effects of current and upcoming legislation. This is also an opportunity for professional networking. Brief presentations are made by professionals with expertise in these areas. The Forum concludes with an opportunity to ask questions, discuss concerns and provide input to the Community and Hospital Services Committee. Members who have suggestions for topics and/or presenters may e-mail these to Bev Jaynes. If you or your organization would be interested in helping to sponsor the Medical SLP Forum luncheon at MSHA's Annual Conference, please contact the MSHA office. I am in the process of gathering information regarding contingent rates. Please email me at craig_n_bev@yahoo.com to let me know what your contingent rate is.
